Emmy-nominated composer, Jeff Lippencott, is responsible for the music of hit television series worldwide, including the new hit series, Expedition Impossible (ABC), Love in the Wild (NBC) and Extreme Makeover-Weight Loss Edition as well as other long running shows including The Apprentice (NBC), The Biggest Loser (NBC), Who Do You Think You Are (NBC), Who Wants To Be A Millionaire (Syndicated), MasterChef (FOX), Shark Tank (ABC), The Martha Stewart Show (Syndicated), Rock Star INXS & Supernova (CBS), Kid Nation (CBS), On The Lot (FOX), and Sarah Palin's Alaska (Discovery). Although well-known for his music in television and film, he also has a storied past working with orchestras.His newest venture, the Santa Clarita Philharmonic, combines his love for orchestral music with his desire to give back to his community. After receiving his bachelor's degree in Music Composition and moving to Nashville, Jeff honed his skills arranging, orchestrating, producing, composing and conducting, working with some of the finest recording artists and orchestras in the world. Currently, Jeff is scoring a feature film for Lionsgate and Coram Deo Studios that will be released in the Fall of 2013.

Jeff spent several years co-producing and arranging for the Nashville Symphony Pops series, receiving accolades from a number of high profile recording artists including Faith Hill, BeBe & CeCe Winans, Amy Grant, Pam Tillis, and Trisha Yearwood. Highlights from this period of his career include arranging and orchestrating for the Amy Grant Christmas Tour, and working with Grammy-award nominee Pam Tillis for performances with the St. Louis, Atlanta and Louisville Symphonies for which he was musical director, arranger and conductor.

A career decision to pursue film and television music led Jeff to Los Angeles in 2002. Soon after arriving in Santa Clarita, he began successfully collaborating on several projects with Mark T. Williams. Jeff and Mark formed a composing partnership under their company, Ah2. This partnership catapulted their careers to new levels, gaining the attention of notable Hollywood producers including television's mega-producer, Mark Burnett.

Working from their studios in Valencia California, Ah2 has grown to be one of the most sought-after composing teams in the world. From their initial call to work on "The Apprentice," to their recent collaboration with Steven Spielberg on the Emmy-nominated theme for "On The Lot," the name "Ah2" has become synonymous with success. Jeff and Mark have garnered multiple industry accolades including gold and platinum records, multiple ASCAP and BMI Film and Television awards, and two Primetime Emmy Nominations.

Jeff and his wife, Stephanie, have lived in the Santa Clarita Valley since they moved to California in 2002. They have two children, Carol Ann, a student at California Baptist University in Riverside, and Emma Catherine, who attends Trinity Classical Academy. It is his own vested interest in his community that has fueled Jeff's desire to make a difference in the valley where he was welcomed with open arms.
