First Concert of the Season a Huge Success

November 16, 2014:  The Santa Clarita Philharmonic performed their first concert of the 2014-15 season on November 16, 2014 at the William Hart High School Auditorium. The enthusiastic audience of over 400 was treated to the music of Mozart, Vivaldi, Vaughan Williams, and Schubert. Our concert master Mathias Rykert’s rendition of “Winter” from Vivaldi’s “Four Seasons” was received with great appreciation. The acoustics of the Hart Auditorium greatly enhanced the orchestra’s rich, professional sound. At the conclusion of Schubert’s Symphony No.8, the orchestra received a standing ovation form the exuberant audience.
