For its seventh season, the Santa Clarita Philharmonic will present two concerts for the 2019-2020 season at the Santa Clarita Performing Arts Center at the College of the Canyons. The orchestra will be sharing the program with the Symphony of the Canyons, the student orchestra of the College of the Canyons.

Saturday, May 16, 2020, 7:30 p.m.
For our spring concert, the Santa Clarita philharmonic will present the winner of our 6th Student Concerto Competition. The contest is open to junior and senior high school students throughout the Santa Clarita area. The student selected will perform with the orchestra. Click here for information. Also on the program is Symphony No. 8 by Beethoven.

Tickets for the concerts are $12 and $6 and are available at the box office.

Donations of $50 or more will receive 2 tickets for each concert

Student Concerto Competition

The Santa Clarita Philharmonic announces its sixth annual Student Concerto Competition. The winner of the competition will perform with the orchestra at the May 16th concert.

Who We Are:

The Santa Clarita Philharmonic is a community-based, volunteer symphony orchestra comprised of professional, semi-professional, avocational, and student musicians from throughout the Santa Clarita Valley and surrounding areas. The SCP is dedicated to providing quality musical opportunities and performances for the residents of the Santa Clarita Valley. The orchestra is a non-profit organization supported by donations from individuals and companies that recognize the importance of continuing the great tradition of music in the community for both players and audiences. The SCP is classified as a 501(c)(3) exempt organizations and all donations are tax deductible.
